She is a second-generation Korean American ceramic artist born in Queens, New York, and based in Portland, Oregon. Her work is shaped by an ongoing curiosity about the connections between experiences and how they shape one another. Through folds and layered textures, she creates surfaces that feel intuitive and irregular, yet follow a sense of order that is deeply personal. The process of building these surfaces and finding movement within them is meditative, offering balance and comfort.
